Our office has X-ray equipment on site. X-Rays, or radiographs are routinely taken and reviewed with the patient during their initial office visit. We use modern digital X-ray imaging to reduce X-ray exposure.
We commonly refer to advanced imaging centers when MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) or CT (computerized tomography) is needed. These three dimensional studies are often helpful when attempting to diagnose disc injury, rotator cuff tear or Meniscal tears. Both open and closed MRI facilities are available.
